Incredible spot, wonderful stay. We had everything we needed. Enjoyed skiing during the day, making great meals in a fully equipped kitchen, warm fires inside, and bonfires outside at night. I hope we can do it again next year.

Excellent service from the first call throughout the stay. Had to call twice for small issues with the house that we rented and both times the service person was there with-in 5 minutes. He was courteous and friendly and fixed the issues promptly. Every person that we dealt with was fantastic. We have used your office 3 times so far and we were very impressed all 3 times.

This house was absolutely wonderful. The wood stove made it extra cozy. Location was epic for snowmobiling. It was right on the snowmobile trail and close to town. Will definitely be back.

This home was wonderful. Easy to get to, close to downtown Rangeley with very easy access to the ATV trails that are behind the house. The property was very clean and welcoming. The views from the back deck are beautiful. Definitely plan to stay here again.

My family an I absolutely love this place. We have stayed here twice already! The view off the back deck is breathtaking and we love how we can enter the ATV trails right from the house. Being close to downtown for our favorite restaurant Parkside and Main is another perk of staying here. All the views we receive on our trip to Rangeley are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your home and we definitely will be back :)

From the moment we walked in we realized the pictures hadn't done this place justice. The views from the porch and in fact from every window had us snapping pictures non-stop as the lighting over the mountains and lake changed and created new vistas. The house is cozy yet spacious, and so comfortable and well layed out. It is extremely clean and the decor is tasteful and well thought out without being cluttered. The location not only affords amazing views, but is also private with wildlife as the only neighbors. As remote as it seems - it is just minutes to walk to downtown for shopping, restaurants, pizza or simply entertainment. When we chose to eat in, the grocery store was a mere half mile away. Thirty minutes in any direction was hiking, waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and museums. As much as we loved exploring the area, returning to spend time on the deck was always a favorite pastime! We are dreaming of when we can return. I can't think of a thing I'd change except that we need to find a way to stay longer. I must also add that although we haven't personally met the employees of Morton and Furbish, we feel as if we know them and they know us. Their thoughtfulness and communication made us feel genuinely cared for.

A peaceful, comfortable cabin. Wonderful views, beautiful sunsets and we loved observing the deer that visit to graze in the yard. Shopping and restaurants are close by. Great ATV and snowmobile access. Close to Rangeley lake and many hiking trails. A perfect property to stay at to experience everything beautiful Rangeley has to offer.

We stayed here with our toddler over the Christmas holiday week and loved everything about it. Tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen, nice linens, and the entertainment area on the lower level is a lot of fun for hanging out or kids playing. Lots of firewood stacked neatly under the deck. The home was safe, warm, and cozy. Also loved that everything is so close to this house! IGA and restaurants in town are a 2 minute drive, Saddleback is 13 minutes away. We will definitely come here again and have already recommended the house to a few friends!

Fantastic cabin- well appointed with gorgeous views! We woke each morning to deer grazing outside our window. Downtown Rangeley did not disappoint with multiple options for dining and cute shops. Moose Alley is a must see- one of the cleanest, most entertaining bowling alleys I've ever been too, not to mention the great food and drinks!

This is our second stay at this lovely cabin home. We really enjoy the privacy of the cabin location while being just a few blocks from town. The cabin is so comfortable, attractively decorated and has everything needed to prepare meals. It was great to have satellite tv to watch in the evening and on rainy days.

This place has it all! Our family had a great time at this cabin! Amazing views of lake and mountains along with great game room with ping pong and board games. Beautiful fire pit looking over the mountains And lake! Had coffee on porch every morning with fantastic view!!! Great location, close to town and easy 7 mile drive to Saddleback. Only negative was second bedroom only had double bed which was not very comfortable.., needs new mattress as when I turned over in bed my husband rolled into middle… lol. Master bedroom was awesome with good bed and two double bunks in good condition in bedroom # 3. Furniture and kitchen were updated and very nice. We played ping pong every night and had a blast! Overall this is a beautiful place, great views, great location and wonderful time with family. We truly did feel like it was our home away from home!

We had an amazing stay at "Home Away From Home" in Rangeley, Maine! We always go away the last week of August before school is back in session to celebrate our daughter's birthday and the end of the summer holidays. Since we have spent the last few years in Vermont, we decided to expand our horizons and stay somewhere we had not visited previously. My husband had told us to look at some properties he had picked out in New Hampshire on VRBO, and somehow our daughter moved the map accidentally and ended up in the Rangeley Lakes area without even realizing we were in Maine;) We were drawn to the listing for "Home Away From Home" and booked it immediately without even checking how far a drive it would be for us. It certainly turned out to be a very happy accident! The house is just three years old, in excellent condition, and appeared to have been thoroughly cleaned upon our arrival. The kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked and pretty much everything anyone would ever need for their stay is supplied with the exception of food, aside from a good amount of staple items that have been generously provided or left behind by previous guests. For everything else, The Rangeley IGA is only minutes away and carries a pretty good selection of items, as well as the Sandy River Farmers’ Market on Tuesday mornings where we picked up some fresh produce and baked goods. The town of Rangeley is within walking distance from the home where there are a number of restaurants, shops, a movie theater, and Rangeley State Park. Since there are just three of us, we only used two of the bedrooms, the master queen suite on the main floor and the queen bedroom on the lower level. A third room with two bunk beds is also downstairs, in addition to a bathroom with shower/tub combination. As others have mentioned, the master bath only has a claw foot tub, so we all used the downstairs bathroom to shower. After a long day of hiking, however, it was really nice to have a soak in the tub. All linens were provided, as well as some extra blankets. There is a washer & dryer available in the lower level, but you might want to bring some dryer sheets along.The ping pong table was a great hit with the family and provided some great late-night entertainment after the sun had set on the incredible views of Haley Pond through the trees. On that note, the awesome balcony with the beautiful picnic table, Adirondack chairs, hanging plants, and bird feeder was easily our favorite part of the house. We had breakfast out there almost every day, and dined outside on the two occasions we decided to stay in for dinner, which was a welcome change from going out to a restaurant every night. We saw a family of deer from the deck one morning, and had two very quick visits from hummingbirds, although I had hoped to see more after making homemade nectar for them. Sadly, we saw not one moose the whole week but maybe that was a good thing, at least while we were driving back at night from one of our adventures! As this review is already so long, I will just list the highlights of our week in Rangeley: kayaking at Hayley Pond & Cupsuptic River arranged with the wonderful people at Ecopelagicon (a very cool store to browse in, too), hiking at Cascade Stream Gorge Trail & Mingo Springs Trail and Bird Walk, swimming at Smalls Falls & Rangeley Lake State Park, mountain biking in the Carrabasset Valley & Rangeley Lakes Trails. The Coplin Dinner House in Stratton, about a thirty-minute drive from the house, was by far the best restaurant & meal of our stay, and well worth the drive. We visited Pine Tree Frosty on three occasions for Gifford's excellent "HomeMaine" ice cream, Maple Walnut & Moose Tracks being our favorites. We also bought breakfast from Classic Provisions right next door a couple of mornings during our stay, and the unique food items we tried were fantastic. You can sit outside in front of the shop, or even better, enjoy your selections at the picnic tables overlooking Haley Pond between both establishments. We book-ended our trip with dinner at Furbish Brew House, a casual place with really good food and super-friendly staff, which we especially enjoyed on our last night when it was the perfect weather to sit outside. Morton & Furbish, the rental agency responsible for taking care of many vacation rental homes in the area, was top-notch and incredibly responsive to our needs. It had been an unseasonably hot day when we arrived, so I contacted the agency after-hours and Beth delivered three fans, while we were out at dinner, which helped immensely to cool the house down so we could have a restful night’s sleep. We had no other issues during our stay but stopped by the office on the way out of town to thank them and inquire about rentals for next year. We spoke with Melinda, who was a sweetheart, and she even was kind enough to print out our daughter's summer math packet we had left for the last-minute. We definitely plan to come back to Rangeley in August 2022, and although we might take a look at some of the waterfront properties available, our daughter is pretty insistent upon returning to "Home Away From Home". We unequivocally recommend this property, the Rangeley Lakes region, and Morton & Furbish for anyone looking for a memorable vacation in the Western Maine Lakes and Mountains region!

Newer home with great view of pond Haley. We had lots of fun staying this clean, neat and organized property. Had everything we needed for 2 families with 4 teenagers and 4 adults. Nice town with beautiful trails, lakes, falls and wonderful natural views. Definitely recommend this property.

Great spot with a gorgeous view from back covered porch! Walk into town. Well equipped kitchen. Master on the first floor with a tub & no shower, which was a little strange, but there's another full bath with a shower on the lower level with tv room & 2 more bedrooms. Very pretty natural wood everywhere. Would definitely recommend it.
