It was a wonderful time. The accommodations were superb. The location was perfect. The deck is Facing west. Sit back on a rocking chair, view the clear waters, listen to loons, etc. Extremely pleased! Thanks Linda, Eric and Fiona (dog).

Cottage on a lake
Wonderful. Cottage on a lake. Just like a postcard with a dock for kids to jump from. The place was immaculate. Gentle breezes and bright stars.

Family weekend on Quimby Pond
A great cabin for our family to spend a long weekend. Close by to paddling (Kennebago River) Hiking (Bald Mountain), the playground and store in Oquossoc, and entertainment (Moose Alley!) The pond is quiet and we watched a pair of loons. The cabin is rustic but very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking meals. We'll definitely come back!
Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals Response: This sounds like such a fantastic time with your family! We are so happy you really made the most of your time in Rangeley and got to try out a bunch of activities. We look forward to welcoming you back soon :)Sarah - Posted: 5/27/2025

A Place Lost in Time
The cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t, like a television. You could sit on the porch watching ripples of water in the pond, listen to a loon call, and become oblivious to the chaos of the outer world. This place is a gem!
Morton and Furbish Vacation Rentals response:

First Visit to Rangeley!
This was our 4th visit to the State of Maine and our first visit to the Rangeley area. We had a wonderful time and the area is beautiful. We loved staying in the Grey Wulff cabin. Thank you for providing such a nice cabin and for being pet friendly. We had a perfect outside space to play and walk our dog. The kitchen was PERFECT plenty of excellent cookware (especially the Cast iron skillets) nice dishes mixing bowls etc. The view of Quimby Pond and hearing the Loons in the evenings was wonderful. The location is an easy drive to Rangeley Town and all places to visit/hike/etc. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone. Thank you again for a wonderful Pet Friendly week In Rangeley Maine -The Mason'sLaura - Posted: 9/30/2024

My fishing buddy and I stayed in the Gray Wulff cottage on Quimby Pond. This proved to be the perfect base for our early-morning-to-evening fishing. We even caught a bunch of trout casting dry flies on Quimby Pond. The cottage was clean, comfortable,, well-equipped, and utterly charming. Communication from hosts before, during, and after our stay was stunningly good. Highly recommended!Richard - Posted: 9/23/2024

We were very happy with our stay at the Gray Wulff on Quimby Pond! The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 and our dog, the area was quiet, beautiful scenery and perfect spot for putting our kayaks in the water exploring the pond and fishing. Very close to downtown Rangeley area for exploring, restaurants, shopping and playground/beach!Kristen - Posted: 9/7/2024

The peace and beauty of the Rangeley area provide the perfect backdrop for a memorable stay. Sitting on the front porch at the cabin and looking out over the pond was one of our favorite activities. We listened to the call of the loons at night and explored the area during the day. We sighted moose several times off Highway 16. Our check-in and check-out was smooth and everyone in the cabin area was very friendly. Our precious lab enjoyed the stay as much as we did! We highly recommend this property! Quaint, historic, surrounded by beauty and wilderness, yet provides everything you need for a comfortable stay!Kathleen - Posted: 7/16/2024

Perfect Upta Camp Experience!
This was my first "Upta Camp" experience. I wasn't familiar with this part of Maine, so I wasn't sure what to expect. There aren't enough superlatives to describe how I feel about Gray Wulff! Rustic for sure, but it's a darling little cozy cabin right on the pond with a porch and rocking chairs. I love that it is one of the original camps; feel I got an authentic experience. The pictures were true to what I encountered when I arrived (with the exception of the orange couch which I learned from my neighbor had recently been replaced). Loved sitting out on the shared dock. So quiet and peaceful. When I come back to the area, I will definitely stay here again!Trina - Posted: 7/25/2022

Adorable Cabin!
Our yearly trip to Rangeley turned out just right. Our extended family flew in from California and stayed at the family's cabin on Mooselookmeguntic Lake and we needed extra space for our family close by. What a great place and perfectly priced. Cozy, quaint and very comfortable right on the pond, 10 minutes from the family's place on the lake. and less than 10 minutes into the main part of Rangeley. The second we pulled up to the cabin we were impressed and it just got better from there. The front room is open concept living room and kitchen area with a high cathedral ceiling accommodating a nice sized loft with two twin beds that my 12 year old son claimed and loved. Then behind that, two bedrooms separated by a jack and jill bathroom. The shower could have been a little bigger but we were so happy to have one at all (since the family cabin is typically off limits due to water conservation issues!) My older son took the other bedroom with the two twin beds - so we could have fit 6 if necessary. All of the walls were stained wood slat board and gave the place a warm inviting atmosphere. The kitchen adorable with great appliances, full fridge, microwave, coffee maker - pots, pans etc. We all loved it and we would definitely return or recommend it. Don't forget to bring towels!Sharon - Posted: 8/15/2016

Grey Wolf was awesome
We happened to plan our fishing trip at a time when Rangeley Maine happened to receive its last snow fall of the season! The point is, we had a wonderful warm cabin with a nice wood burning fire to retreat to. The cabin was everything we could have hoped for. It was idyllic in the sense of what one would picture as the classic North woods cabin. We loved it, even though there were white caps on the pond and snow was covering the front porch. The only issue was the canoe that was promised in the advertisement. I had specifically asked the property management and they said they would include information in our rental packet. Evidently they forgot. We had a great time anyway.Greg - Posted: 5/29/2016

One of the best vacations I've ever had
Loved everything about Rangeley, the location of the camp and the camp itself. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and chairs, plenty of hot water. A TV and a kayak or two would have been nice but definitely not a deal breaker. Looking forward to returning next year.Janice - Posted: 5/25/2015
