We loved this quintessential Rangeley Log Cabin. It was well appointed and had a lovely sunset view from the dock. We felt immediately at home and would definitely stay again!

Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals response: I'm so happy to hear that you felt right at home in Rangeley!! That's always our goal :) We would love to have you back again soon!!

Amazing Cottage on Quimby Pond
We rented the cottage as two couples over labor day weekend and it was perfect! It had everything you'd need from cooking equipment and kitchen items, to kayaks, dry firewood, kindling, a closet full of games and movies, and a great charcoal grill. The back yard went directly up to a private dock on Quimby pond where we took amazing photos of the stars at night. It feels very private while being 5 minutes from Oquossoc and 10-15 from Rangeley. It was cozy and rustic while being completely spotless and super comfortable. Would absolutely rent here again! Morton & Furbish was also very communicative, helped us with an early check in when it was ready ahead of 4pm, and was overall great to work with.

A Week away from it all at Cedar Duft Cottage, Rangeley, Maine
This cabin is everything one could want and then some, very nice and excellent access to Quimby Pond {no fish, very warm time of the year, but I would highly question the brook trout population in the pond, if any}. A wonderful trip many thanks to the folks at Morton Furbish, job well done. Great pond for kayaking and canoeing on. Easy access to town yet not too close.

Great Spot
This was my second stay. Again I was not disappointed. Watching the fall sunset from the dock sealed the deal. Clean, well kept and perfect for 2-4 folks who need to reset in the wilds.

Pretty Nice Spot
This was our third stay at this location. We are very comfortable here, and it's nice and quiet compared to some other places we've stayed. I wouldn't mind if a couple trees were removed as if you are backing in at night to park it is a little tricky not hitting a tree OR the entry porch. I wish the the owners subscribed to NESN because it stinks not watching the Red Sox at the end of September when they are in a pennant race! On balance, it is a great camp and we had a wonderful time!

we keep coming back
Cedar Duft is a beautiful cabin, spacious, attractive, clean, and set such that you can't see or hear another cabin from it. With its lawn rolling down to the beautiful Quimby Pond, its own dock and swimming dock, bbq, fire pit, and picnic table and kids' play set, it is quite perfect. Our only negative rating is that the two kayaks provided are the very old and heavy kind, and at least at our age, we found it very hard to move them to and from their space under the deck and quite hard to manage in the water (in fact, we turned it over an fell out, when we tried to exit at the dock; we wish for the newer light and easier to handle and move kayaks. That said, we have now been at the cabin 4 times and will return again. We recommend it highly. The pond is beautiful, its loons cry out wonderfully, its screened in porch is perfect, and the sunsets are to die for. And Rangeley, 4 miles away is a charming little town, the staff at Morton and Furbish real estate management are very nice and helpful, and Rangeley Lake is beautiful. We'll be back!

My family so enjoyed CedarDuft Cottage!
Perfect swimming area for my grandkids. Smores made, firefly's caught in jar, what could be better than that. Highly recommended the accommodations. Hope to rent again.

Right out of an L.L. Bean Catalog
The "camp" more like a home,it was very nice. If I could have a camp in Maine this would be it. It had everything we needed. The screened in porch was great for reading or just relaxing in the evening. Town is only a few minutes drive from the camp. It was also fairly close to where I was fished. Having the flexibilty for renting the camp for 4 days (min 3 days) rather than a full week was important too us.

very nice place
place was very clean , appliances were new very nice place . I rented it for snowmobiling . Trail was across the street and down away . The only problem was the drive way it goes down hill and it was very icy even through they sanded it i could not park in the driveway because i have a 4 place covered trailer and I would not have gotten out of there
