Whether you’re here for a week or a weekend, make time to experience some of our favorite recurring events and local traditions. From live music and farm-fresh markets to pub trivia and historic walking tours, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Mondays
Kids on the Kennebago (Summer 2025)
🕙 10 AM – 1 PM
📍 Rangeley Adventure Company
Get your youngster on the water for a guided trip down a local favorite, the Kennebago River, with Rangeley Adventure Guide Service. Boats, paddles, and PFDs will be provided. Visit www.rangeleyadventureco.com for additional information.
Ages: 10-14
Group Size: 3-6
Registration: Register at the Rangeley Adventure Company at 7 Pond St. Registration is first come, first served. You must register by 5:00 p.m. the day before the trip.
Transportation: Parents will drop their child off at Steep Bank Pool on the Boy Scout Road at 10:00 am. Parents will pick up at the Rt 16 bridge at approximately 1:00pm.
Tuesdays
South Shore Farmers Market (Mid-Spring to Mid-Fall)
🕙 10 AM – 2 PM
📍 South Shore Drive
Stock up on fresh produce, baked goods, handmade crafts, and local treats from a variety of local vendors. A great way to spend a sunny morning and support local farmers and artisans.
Wednesdays
Pizza Party Night at The Oquossoc Grocery
🍕 2 Large 1-Topping Pizzas (16″ family size), 1 Large Garden Salad, 1 Large Fry – $45.00
Trivia Night at Sarge’s Pub
🕖 7 PM
Put your knowledge to the test at this lively, weekly trivia night! Bring a team or join in solo — great fun, good food, and local brews await. Prizes for the winning team!
Thursdays
Downtown Farmers Market (Mid-Spring to Mid-Fall)
🕙 10 AM – 2 PM
📍 Depot Street
A bustling market in the heart of downtown featuring local farmers, artists, and food vendors. Great for picking up unique gifts, fresh flowers, and a tasty snack on the go.
Fridays
Friday Cookout at The Oquossoc Grocery
🍔 A local favorite … Every Friday from 11am-2pm we grill outside .. Burgers and dogs and sometimes an added surprise!
Lobster Bake at Bald Mountain Camps Resort
🦞 Under the Tent Every Friday – Your choice of 1.25 lb lobster with steamers, bbq chicken, ribs or burgers and hot dogs. Each plate includes: hand cut fries, corn on the cob, a garden salad, and coleslaw. You can choose Steve’s blueberry pancakes or watermelon for desert. Reservation only – call 207-864-3671
Live Music: Tom Ball Band at The Shed

Enjoy an energetic night of live music with the Tom Ball Band. Great atmosphere, great tunes — a local favorite!
Saturdays
Downtown Walking Tour (July & August)

Join a guided walking tour of downtown Rangeley and discover the history, architecture, and stories that make this mountain town so special. Great for first-time visitors!
Prime Rib Dinner at Bald Mountain Camps Resort
🥩 Treat yourself to a mouthwatering prime rib dinner with beautiful lakefront views. A perfect way to end the week with hearty food and rustic charm.
DJ Dance Party or Karaoke at Sarge’s Pub (21+)
🕘 9 PM
Wrap up the week with music and dancing or belt out your favorite hits during karaoke night! Always a great time for those 21 and over.
Sundays
Sweet & Sunny Sunday Mornings at The Oquossoc Grocery
🥞 Choice of pancakes or waffles topped with fresh fruit (choices available) or chocolate chips … served with whipped cream and Maine maple syrup. Open at 5am (everyday)
