Mountain Biking & Fat Tire Rentals

Saddleback Mountain Bike Rentals: Starting Memorial Day Weekend, Saddleback Mountain will be offering mountain bike and safety equipment rentals, lessons, and guided tours on the existing network of single-trail bike trails. Biking Trails

THE RAILROAD LOOP TRAIL
This trail starts off on Route 4, on a gravel road just south of the Rangeley Inn. The trail is marked and is a 12.5 mile mountain bike loop. It has a good mixture of terrain and offers some great views of Rangeley Lake and the mountains. It is a nice ride; however, the last half has many long uphill’s.

EAST KENNEBEGO MOUNTAIN
The 3 mile trail is not only a nice, scenic hike, but also offers a challenge to those who wish to bring their mountain bike! To find the trail, go 10 miles east of Rangeley on Route 16. Turn left on
a gravel road, cross the bridge, and then take a right (5.3 miles from the bridge). The trail begins at the East Kennebago Snowmobile sign.

RANGELEY LAKES TRAIL CENTER
The Rangeley lakes Trails Center is located at 524 Saddleback Mountain Road and offers seven miles of trails for mountain biking! In difficulty rating, 2 miles are easy (to steel bridge and back along Tote Road). The remainder is suggested for advanced mountain bikers. Many of the area’s woods roads provide excellent riding.
