Rangeley comes alive each winter during Snodeo Weekend, and this year is shaping up to be another can’t-miss celebration. Hosted by the Rangeley Lakes Snowmobile Club, Snodeo brings together riders, spectators, and winter enthusiasts for a weekend full of excitement, community, and classic Rangeley fun. From thrilling events to après-snowmobile gatherings around town, it’s the perfect excuse to embrace the season.

Start Snodeo Weekend on a delicious note with the annual chili and chowder cook-off at Sarge’s. Local chefs bring their best recipes, and attendees get to vote and enjoy a warm, tasty start to the weekend!

Poker Run

The Poker Run is a favorite Snodeo event hosted by the Rangeley Lakes Snowmobile Club, combining a great day of trail riding with a little friendly competition. Riders stop at checkpoints to collect cards and build a poker hand, then return to town to see who wins—all while enjoying the trails and supporting the local club. 🛷❄️🃏

Women’s Full Moon Snowshoe Series with Magalloway Outfitters

Skating at Haley Pond
Enjoy ice skating, pond hockey, and more on Haley Pond, thanks to free skates provided by Rangeley Adventure Company and the Rangeley Skating Club. There is also a warming hut and a bonfire to gather around! More info here!
