Beautiful location and the loons are wonderful to listen to. The deck is beautiful, along with the 2 docks at the lake. Heads up for anyone renting the guest cabin, there is no WI-FI or cell service over there. It’s a cute little cabin though! There’s also a finished basement with games and a tv which was a nice surprise! Overall, a great stay and we had a wonderful time! We had a large group too!

A great camp. All the comforts of home. Our dog loved being able to hang out on the deck, which has gates on both ends. Plenty of room for the family to relax and enjoy the peaceful area. The lake was perfect for kayaking. The paddle boat was a big hit!! We highly recommend this camp!!!

We've stayed here before and found Loon Lake Retreat to be very relaxing and quiet with nice views. We like the fact we were able to bring our dogs with us. The kitchen has recently been remodeled.

Our family had a wonderful week on Loon Lake. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful, serene, and peaceful. We spent most of the week on the dock, listening to the loons and to the quiet. The house had everything we needed, inside and out, including the 3 kayaks, a canoe, and a rowboat. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway vacation for relaxation and family togetherness.

the back porch makes it! great to hide from the intense sun or rain. gates at either end keep kids and dogs in place. liked the double level dock, one on water and one further back to keep you out of wind. decent kayak entry. there is a preserved mountain lion that is a bit creepy. we would come back

The cabin is beautiful and very well stocked! It is more spacious than the photos show. There are a lot of nice touches & the owners thought of everything that might be needed. We will be back for future visits!

Relaxing spot on a quiet lake. Loon calls (and loons) and no motors. Good spot for enjoying the view from the dock or deck or visiting local sites. Heater for chilly mornings. Small, but well-outfitted kitchen. Internet was good, but like most of the area, no phone service. A spot to really get away from it all.

This was our sixth time coming to Rangeley. We tried different cabins each time until we found Loon Lake Retreat. We stayed there last summer and loved it so much we returned against this year. It's gots lots of places to sit, whether it's in the sunroom, the living room, the desk, upstairs in the loft area, or out on the dock. The kitchen is also nicer than you'll find in most cabins. Loon Lake itself is quiet. Motor boats are not allowed, and half the land around it is a nature preserve.

This was our fifth summer coming to Rangeley and our fifth cabin. It was our favorite so far. Very comfortable and spacious with a nicer kitchen than most. It has a terrific porch and nice sunroom. There were lots of loons and we thoroughly enjoyed the pond. Would definitely stay there again.

This was the most relaxing location and best equipped cabin rental that we have rented in the Rangeley area. We can not wait to return. Morton and Furbush provided excellent service as usual.

Great location to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of a Maine mountain lake. The cabin was perfect for a family to unwind with comfortable beds and living arrangements. The porch was ideal for coffee or cocktail hour and enjoying the fresh air. The small boat had a slow leak but no matter, we caught fish as we were escorted around the lake by loons. If you are interested in staying on a quiet lake and enjoying mountain views then you should consider this cabin. The water entry was shallow and rocky in places but we managed to swim out to deeper water and sit on large boulders.

We wanted a log cabin by the lake and this fit the bill. It had everything we needed and we spent almost all of our time on the lake watching or listening to the loons. We wanted a canoe, row boat or kayak...it had all three. Fully equipped kitchen and gas grill made it easy to eat meals on the deck enjoying the views. The lake was really quiet and tranquil. We would return here again. The cabin was as presented in the website. It exceeded our expectations.
