The house was a great stay for our group of 7! There was a lot of space both inside and outside for everyone and plenty of beds. The hosts were fast to respond to our questions. The house was very clean, the kitchen suited our cooking needs. We would stay again if in the area. It also isn't far from downtown Rangely or the state park.

Very nice home in a beautiful location. Very short walk to a bridge with a great view of Rangeley Lake. Only about 5 minutes from main st where all the shops and restaurants are. Large spiral staircase to get upstairs to the kitchen which was tough for older family members to constantly go up and down so keep that in mind if traveling with older people but otherwise great house!

Real Treat

We have rented many homes in the Rangeley area for over 20 years and The Carousel is by far our favorite. We have rented this home for for the past 4 years and will continue to do so for as long as possible. The Carousel is beautiful, private, comfortable, and clean. The entrance to this property begins with a large mudroom which makes it very easy to keep the living areas free of clutter. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The real treat when renting this home is the third floor open kitchen, dining and living area. Winding up the spiral staircase to access this room makes it feel even more special and unique. There is large dining room table, a kitchen equipped with everything needed for making a home cooked meal, a TV area, and a space for playing games or doing puzzles. It nice to have a space where everyone can be together while doing different things. This living area also has 360 degrees of spectacular views of the beautiful wilderness with lots of wildlife. It's a wonderful place to watch birds and deer. The location is private and quite and only a 2 minute walk to Rangeley lake and a 5-10 minute drive to Oquossoc and Rangeley centers. This is a truly unique property that provides a wonderful relaxing getaway. We highly recommend this property. Lisa C.

The property was great! Was as descripted and listed. Especially nice in the early morning/late at night hearing the loons off the lake. We enjoyed the puzzles at the house, fishing, Moose Alley, and Pine Tree Frosty (a daily visit when open).
