South Branch Condo 21-1 offers the perfect ski-in/ski-out getaway on Saddleback Mountain, combining comfort, convenience, and beautiful mountain views. This cozy, ground-level condo makes coming and going from the slopes effortless and is located just steps from the main lodge, where you’ll find a lively pub restaurant, ski shop, gift shop, and more—everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay right at the mountain.

Inside, the condo is warm and welcoming, featuring a fully equipped kitchen for easy meals after a day outdoors and a comfortable living room complete with a gas fireplace and an electric-powered recliner—ideal for unwinding after skiing or riding. The washer and dryer add extra convenience for longer stays, and the dedicated ski locker located in the basement under Building 17 makes storing your gear simple and secure.

Step out onto the balcony to take in beautiful views of Saddleback Lake and the distant mountains, or enjoy the peaceful setting that surrounds the South Branch community. In the winter, you’ll love the easy access to downhill and cross-country skiing, while summer brings excellent mountain biking and outdoor adventures right nearby. Just a few miles down the road, the town of Rangeley and Rangeley Lake offer grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and plenty of local charm—making South Branch Condo 21-1 a fantastic year-round retreat.

Sleeping Arrangements: First Bedroom Main Floor Queen, Second Bedroom Main Floor Double and Twin Bunk Bed 

Location: South Branch Way branches off from the access road just before reaching the Saddleback Base Lodge. 7.7 miles to downtown Rangeley, 14.7 miles to downtown Oquossoc, and 0.4 miles to Saddleback Base Lodge.

FAQs: Two vehicles only- park in front of the condo unit! Additional vehicles can park at one of the public lots near the Base Lodge. Ski Locker in basement (under building 17; room is locked using a code that will be provided; bring your own lock if you want to lock things in a locker.).

Perfect Location
We had a wonderful four‑night stay. The location is excellent with easy ski‑in, ski‑out access, and the condo had everything I needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the team at Morton & Furbish was quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend.

Great location!
Great ski in/ski out location! Condo was great, only complaint was the WiFi being down for our whole stay. The skiing was awesome, the condo was well stocked and the gas fireplace was very relaxing after a day on the slopes. We will be back, we love Saddleback!

Saddleback condo
Great ski in- ski out two bedroom condo. Had plenty of room for the four of us and the fireplace was a nice addition on top of a nice view of the deck.

Enjoyed our ski vacation stay
Very comfortable, clean, modern, spacious accommodations. Great view from the ample windows in living room and master bedroom. The propane fireplace is enjoyable for ambiance and warmth. All the conveniences of a vacation rental, including completely outfitted kitchen. Access to the ski resort is very convenient. The Rental Agency is very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to returning, maybe also come in the summer for hiking in the area.

Saddleback Stay
The condo was great and just what we we were looking for. Super clean and comfortable. Absolutely loved the gas fireplace, especially after a long day out skiing. Condo was in excellent condition. Appliance options were good as well, the electric teapot was a big hit for hot cocoa. Would absolutely recommend and will look to book again in the future. Location on mountain was also ideal, the only downside being the electrical demons of the South Branch Quad, so have to shuttle to the lodge was a little bit of a bummer. (skiing back worked out great) Only two very small adds to the experience. 1: Better instructions on the door lock. Took a bit to realize it had to be locked from the inside before closing the door. Also, not sure what the key was for on the coffee table (no explanation). It seemed to fit in the front door, but didn't actually turn the lock. 2: Additional info on the lockers under the condo. I did not bring a keypad or combo lock in order to utilize the lockers. Our items would have most likely been perfectly fine, but I did not feel comfortable leaving them completely unattended.

Nice time at Saddleback
Perfect place for a couple, two couples or a family with a couple children. Wonderful view out the living room window and the master bedroom. Clean and nicely laid out. Wonderful skiing themed artwork throughout. Beds were good. Kitchen was easy to use. TV system worked fine. Nice access out of the back door to the ski locker. Nice place and we would love to stay there again.
