The property was exactly as represented - very private and beautiful views of the lake. We were able to dock our 24' pontoon boat at the new dock even with extremely low water levels. But the most AMAZING aspect of our stay was the superb service by Dan, one of the talented maintenance guys working for Morton & Furbish. He stopped by to say hello and, when he realized we didn't have a fire pit, offered to find us one and bring us several days worth of split fire wood. It made all the difference! Thanks Dan!

This cabin is well maintained with priceless views. The agents were kind & attentive throughout the booking & stay. Our kids are already asking when we can go again, which is really the best review I can give. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation.

The cabin felt very private and comfortable. Gorgeous waterfront location with a floating dock! Wood stove kept us cozy and warm, especially when we briefly lost power. We enjoyed paddling around in the canoe and checking out the shoreline, and loons. Appreciate that they allows dogs, as ours has a blast! Thank you!

What a perfect get-away for city dwellers! Although we do love our home in Cambridge, the pandemic has changed everything, and the cabin on the lake was a very lovely alternative. Originally we thought that a month-stay might be a bit too long; however, I cried when we drove away. Need I say more?

Best water access for swimming of the many quality places we have rented for vacation. The camp was clean and well equipped. The wood stove was perfect for the only damp and cool night that we had. We liked the location because it was about halfway to town, easy trip either direction.All the help at Morton and Furbush is great. Sarah has handled our needs for the past several seasons. Service always perfect!

Absolutely wonderful week! Might look at trimming some of the trees back near the shore. View continues to be less with the continued growth of the foliage.

What a place! Because we live in the city of Cambridge, we like to vacation somewhere completely different, and this is most certainly the spot. Beautiful, tranquil and sooo relaxing. The only sounds are the waves lapping at the shore AND the haunting cries of the loons on the lake. It is truly a paradise, and WE WILL RETURN NEXT SUMMER!

This was perfect for our family. Clean, screened in porch, private lake access, great accommodations! It was so peaceful here it was amazing. All we heard were the loons, which we love! Absolutely beautiful lake and comfortable, relaxing home! I highly recommend it for the vacation away from everything!!

This cabin is on a quiet, dead end road, and is very serene. It was a great getaway from the world.  The views from the cabin, however are not so good. Too high up from the water, and too many trees to block any sort of view. So, if you are looking for a place to take in the views while hanging out on a deck...this cabin may not be for you.

The Parris cottage was even lovelier than we expected - neat as a pin, comfortable and with lovely views and a peaceful setting. The new-ish kitchen is thoughtfully supplied with essential tools and equipment. The delightful screened porch, boat, dock, and charcoal grill made the outdoor experience so pleasant. Though we've been back home for several days my mind is still in Rangeley, and we look forward to returning again and again.

Beautiful retreat! As a Hospice nurse I need nature to restore me and this spot certainly filled my needs! The dogs seemed to know they were on vacation as soon as they got out of the car!The agency was terrific and friendly,we will be using this agency again for sure!!

Location was quiet, screened in porch on the cabin was great as you could sit out there rain/shine and not worry about bugs. I agree with another review in that the owners should trim the trees to make the view nicer. Also, the vacuum cleaner at the cabin was ancient and should be replaced. Not having TV or internet was great for our family. Owners should get rid of the TV as it has no purpose! All in all, the cabin was nice and we had a great vacation.

Good-sized cabin with dock and quiet location. Screened-in porch was perfect for reading, relaxing, and ball play with dog. Amenities were as offered and no disappointments. Dock was good for kayaking. Location on lake was near marshes--good for bird sightings-- and quiet shoreline of trees--saw eagles! Good paddling. Rental agents are, as I have experienced in past, very helpful and made a good match with this cabin for us. One concern was trees at cabin growing over shoreline, so view of lake from cabin porch and deck is nearly closed off--a disappointment. Owner needs to trim/cut.

The house was nice and quiet on a dead end road. It was a very clean and comfortable stay. We met the owners of the property and they were very pleasant. The dock provided a fun place to swim and play with the dogs. We recommend a paddle up south bog stream which is in the nearby cove.

We have been vacationing at Rangeley Lakes area Mooselookmeguntic, Saddleback and Rangeley Lakes for over 5 yeas now and we like this rental (Parris) the best so far. While there, we met Charlie and Marianne Parris and found we had much in common. They were at the cabin for drinks with us and we over to their cabin as well. We exchanged phone #'s, e-mail addresses, and addresses. We hope to be back at 62 S. Bog Rd. next year as well.

We found the cabin very comfortable and located in a perfect spot on the lake. We had a wonderful relaxing time there and even in our short stay met some interesting and very friendly people. They made us feel welcome there and we look forward to a future return trip.
