Oquossoc Suite #1

This is our second stay here. We were here a year ago with our dog as this place is dog friendly. The location is so convenient. We can walk to the Museum, to fishing in the Rangeley River, walk to the fly shop and good food at the Oquossoc Grocery Store. Clean, modern and quiet.

We had a great week at Oquossoc Suite number 1! This unit was perfect for our family of 4 and it was our third time renting from M&F. The unit was clean and impeccably furnished Watching the snow storm through the gigantic window while in front of the gas fireplace was amazing. The storm brought the coldest winter weather I have ever experienced but we were very cozy inside. After the storm, the conditions for winter activities were incredible. We snowmobiled to Quill Hill and saw breathtaking views. We skied at Saddleback on the absolute perfect sunny and windless day. Kids enjoyed ice skating on Hadley Pond and sledding at Mingo golf course. The area restaurants never disappoint! Portage Tap House is my favorite and walking distance from our suite. We ate somewhere fabulous every night. Rangeley is the perfect place for winter fun and M&F provides the coziest lodging after you fully experience the elements! We will be back for more!

While the property was exactly what we were looking for, the staff made our stay more than we expected. We loved the corner unit with the big windows, the private bedroom, and the large shower. The door to the back was great for access to a back "yard" area for our dog. While this is a motel-style property, it was not noisy at all. We enjoyed a very quiet weekend getaway and will most certainly book another property with Morton and Furbish.

We had a great stay at the Oquossoc Motel Country Suites. The Suite had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated and well maintained. Rangeley and Oquossoc are idillic places to spend time in the summer.

Room #1 was the perfect size. The units are very clean & come with all the amenities needed for a few days in the Rangeley area snowmobiling. The room looks like a mountain lodge, decorated very tastefully with comfortable beds & a sitting area in front of a fireplace. The area is quiet with restaurant's nearby and a small grocery with deli across the street. We highly recommend the Country suites & surrounding area for a year round getaway.

What a beautiful suite! Appointed with rustic yet modern finishes, it had all the amenities we needed for a great extended stay. The info guide is incredibly helpful with lots of suggestions for activities, restaurants, and local services. We would (and will!) stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely and quiet setting. Convenient to local attractions and facilities. Regarding the specific unit: clean as a pin!! Comfortable beds! Generous with the towels! Thank you for the attention to these. Have a look at the bathroom in 2 areas...shower, leaks at the glass gap and becomes a mess all over the floor. The sink faucet: should it ever need replaced please place it closer to the edge of the sink or have a longer reaching/taller faucet as washing hands is difficult because hands cannot fully get under flowing water.

Very nice for a two night stay during a quiet time of year. The room was spacious and comfortable. The basic kitchen was fine for breakfast and lunch. The open fire was cosy. The beds were comfortable. Everything very clean. Be prepared though: it is a little bright in the mornings due to large, high, uncovered windows, and you cannot darken the bedroom for sleep.

We had a nice stay. The accomidations were great. Beds were comfortable and the space worked really well for my wife and two daughters. The bathroom was great, the shower was great and the kitchenette worked really well for our needs. Unfortunately, because our stay happened during the pandemic, we asked that there was no interactions with the staff, which was a bit of a bummer as we would have liked to say hello, but everything was wonderful and we had a nice quite stay up in Oquossoc. All our best.

To call this place a motel redefines the word. It was beautiful. Super clean and modern. Front porch with chairs and also a back door that made for easy loading of the car. We are a family of 5 and often it is difficult to find accommodations that have an extra bed. This suite had a pull out couch, two twin beds, and a separate bedroom also, Plenty of room. We would gladly stay here again. Thanks so much My only suggestions would be to replace the high table that had three chairs to a rectangular table that could double as counter space while cooking and would seat more people allowing us to eat together. A can opener, hot pads, and a pitcher would be good additions to the already well stocked kitchen. Seriously. That's all I can think of to add. It was a great place!

Can`t think of anything I would expect missing. Nice quality furniture, bedding, and finishes.  Nice new pubs within walking distance! I think a screen missing from the bedroom window?
