Moregreen is a cozy waterfront cottage on Haley Pond in Rangeley, Maine, perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking a peaceful escape with unbeatable walkability. Nestled right on the water, this charming retreat offers tranquil pond views while being less than a five-minute walk to Main Street Rangeley and Rangeley Lake. With Saddleback Mountain just a 13-minute drive away, Moregreen is an ideal home base in every season.

The outdoor space is a true highlight. Guests can enjoy private pond access with a dock, a grassy lawn leading to the water, and complimentary use of the canoe and kayak for relaxing paddles on calm days. Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, a grill, and a fire pit make it easy to enjoy long summer evenings or crisp fall nights by the water.

Inside, Moregreen offers a warm and welcoming layout designed for comfort and simplicity. The cozy living area features a propane “woodstove” that allows guests to maintain their preferred room temperature year-round. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for easy meals (note: no dishwasher), and the cottage includes WiFi, a Smart TV, books, games, and a DVD/CD player for relaxed downtime.

Sleeping Arrangements: One bedroom with a Queen bed. Sleeps up to 2 guests.

Location: 24 Verrill Terrace, Rangeley ME. Walk into downtown Rangeley! 7.3 miles to downtown Oquossoc, 7.9 miles to Saddleback Mountain.

Cozy

We had a very relaxing time. It was so very cozy and we were warm on a snowy cold cold few days. Everything was great and comfortable. The cabin is so convenient to everything.

Charming and cozy cabin!

The cabin was very charming and cozy! We loved sitting in the two Adirondack chairs each evening to watch the sunset! We had our own canoe and loved paddling around the pond. There was a full moon and we enjoyed it from out in the pond! The cabin was in a great location and we walked to a different restaurant each evening for dinner! Having fresh coffee to brew each morning was another extra added bonus that we enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

Little Slice of Heaven

We had a wonderful time at the Cabin on Haley Pond !! It was a perfect spot by the lake and in the mountains. My wife and I are wildlife enthusiasts and we were treated to ducks and deer greeting us in the morning and evenings. Listening to the loons on the lake while the sun was setting was magical while we enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire. The rental staff was prompt and friendly when we had any questions. Would highly recommend this little piece of heaven !! 😊

Beautiful Cabin on Haley Pond

Moregreen is the perfect location for a couple (or individual) getaway. Perfect walking location to town and Rangeley Lake, restaurants, and ice cream. Haley Pond offers the perfect view for sunrises and picturesque Maine views. The cabin is small, but well appointed - kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and had a great gas grill outside. Property comes with a single and double kayak as well as a canoe. Comfortable sofa and bed, and house is very clean. We would love to stay there again in the future.

Perfect little getaway!

What a great little place! Kayaks, fire pit, walkable to all the places in town, deer walking through the community and ducks visiting every day. Exactly the get away we needed. Fairly close to neighbors but it’s all small houses and everyone is so friendly and there for the same reason…and the road is private so no through traffic. The kitchen was well furnished with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and when open, looks over the lake. We visited in August so there was minimal rain…but perfect weather for hitting portions of the Appalachian trail and other great hikes in the area.

Loved it!

I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The house is incredibly cute and well-equipped. It's perfect for two people. The pond was peaceful without powerboats, and we enjoyed the sound of loons at night. We loved using the fire pit in the evening, and their canoe, where we saw plenty of beautiful white water lilies. The sweet little town (and ice cream store!) is only a short walk away.

Great stay!

We enjoyed so much of Rangeley during our stay! The Rangeley Inn was great, we did lots of fishing and kayaking, and loved Quill Hill!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was our first visit to Rangeley, and the location was perfect! Easily walkable to town while having views of Haley Pond. The house is so cozy, the couch was comfy, and there were lots of games provided which was fun. The rental agency communicated with us throughout the stay, including suggestions for things to do. My only complaint was that the bed/pillows were not the most comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a very serene weekend. Beautiful view, walkable to downtown and several delicious restaurants. I did not remember seeing no AC, but the cabin went to 83 during the day and was 70 by morning. We would highly recommend this property!

Super Cute Little Home!

Moregreen was a pleasure to stay in -- its compact but is well equipped with everything you need and super cute! We loved the views to the pond and being able to walk to restaurants in town! Would 100% recommend for a couple!

Fall visit

We enjoyed our stay, our tiny cottage was comfortable and had a beautiful view. We were visited by ducks and deer. It was an easy walk to town and restaurants. The rental company was wonderful to work with and it was obvious that they wanted us to have a great experience. We had a loud refrigerator and they sent someone out on a holiday weekend. They were friendly on the phone and their emails were helpful. We would recommend this rental.

Adorable cottage!

Our stay at this adorable cottage was so nice! We saw loons, a blue heron, and deer right from the cottage! It is decorated so nicely and provided so much for such a small place. Perfect for 2 people! We enjoyed the canoe and fire pit! Loved that it was within walking distance to downtown! We would definitely stay there again!

This cottage was perfect for my husband & I. Great location! Enjoyed driving up to Quill Hill for foliage and then again at sunset. Also, driving around looking for deer and moose - never saw a moose this trip :( Lots of deer!

Lakeside heaven

I can't say enough about this lovely lakeside cabin. The house was thoughtfully fitted out with every imaginable amenity, from great cookware to firestarters and reading glasses. We especially loved hearing the loons calling across the lake. Rangeley's main street is a few minutes' walk away, and there are several good hikes nearby. Strongly recommended!
