This was our first family trip since our children were kids.. now we are grandparents with adult children, our trip was fabulous!!! We hiked, swam, kayaked, paddle boarded, nature walks, played tennis thanks to the owners 😁, and we did loads of Fly Fishing on the kennebago River which was pristine as usual!!! Thanks to the owners and whole team for making our trip worth every second!!! Only One Sad thing… we seen No Moose 🫎!! Maybe next time! 💗

Great week at LuckyStyrk on Mooselookmeguntic Lake!
Couldn’t imagine a better getaway for our 3-generation family and our Newfoundland pup “Moby”! From the rustic cabins, front porches with gorgeous views of the sloping yard down to the lakefront and private sandy beach, as well as close proximity to Bald Mountain hiking trail, it fully met our expectations. Also, very “boat” and “swim” friendly!

Sunny, Sandy Spot
I'm a bit of a "Tripadvisor" junkie and rely on it for the majority of my travels. With that said, I tend to be very open and upfront about my hotel, villa and lodging experiences to help future travelers make the most of their vacation and also getting the "what you paid for". This was my first visit to Rangeley, Maine and was so excited about sharing this beautiful home with my family. There are some pros and cons about the cottages, and I hope it helps you with your planning. Pros: 1st off, Morton and Furbish are amazing and go above and beyond to assist in any way. The 2 cottages are located in a beautiful spot on the lake, set back with a sprawling beautiful grassy lawn. There were small flower gardens and white birches, the lawn was lovely! There is a small private beach with an amazing sandy, soft entry (No big drop offs) which made it great for my grandchildren. There is a nice fire pit on the beach which was incredible, the stars are breathtakingly beautiful! The cottages were spacious with plenty of room for all of our guests. Cons: Although the rental has incredible views, it also is located amongst a community or "HOA". The road to get down to the shared boat house is just to the right of the house and there was some traffic and foot traffic coming and going throughout the day, so it's a bit less private. But everyone was super friendly! Lucky Stryke is VERY rustic...The walls are paper thin and you can actually see through them LOL, I honestly didn't care, but some people may be looking for a little more privacy, as you could hear every little sound. If one person was up, everyone is up. The kitchen (one of the ovens didn't work), and bathrooms are quite older. The shower stall in one of them is quite small (we were okay) ...but if you're a "bigger" person or someone with some disability, you may find this difficult to maneuver in. The other thing is it advertises as a mooring for use, but in actuality, after contacting every boat rental spot...they don't allow you to keep a rental boat for the week at the mooring, so you'd need to trailer your own boat up (which would have been so much fun!) All in all it was a great stay and we had a blast! M&F delivered a grill to us on request which was awesome! Just keep in mind that it's super rustic and close to some other homes. Enjoy!

The two camps look as if they are connected, but only on the outside, each has own entry, kitchen and bathroom. We have 2 boys late teens-it was perfect for each of us to have our own privacy yet be together as a family. Super nice beach, (which is rare on Mooselook) and people super kind and friendly. Pet friendly as well-our pup loved jumping from the dock! Folks showed up early to install mooring which was terrific! I would stay again! Thanks everyone!
