Fun and Comfort for Everyone
We rented Edgewater for a three generational family gathering and found it just perfect. The set up with two different upstairs areas was great for the two sets of parents with toddlers and the downstairs ensuite bedroom was perfect for the grandparents. The yard has plenty of room for running around and there are lots of lawn games available. The view of the lake is relaxing and sunsets are spectacular. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is comfortable for lounging, reading and playing with toddlers. The location is close to town but private, we enjoyed watching loons in the lake and turkeys and deer in the yard. We can't wait to come again.

Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals response: I'm so happy to hear that your whole family had an amazing vacation! It truly is a special spot :) We look forward to having you back in Rangeley again!!

Most beautiful spot in Rangeley
As we entered the property, we knew we had found a pice of heaven. The location is breathtaking with views of Saddleback and mountain range! The lake is crystal clear and coming from the ocean we loved the peaceful and placid waters. The weather was beautiful! We loved this home. The layout with 4 adults was ideal-privacy for sleeping yet the porch and living space brought us together every morning for coffee and dinner. Thank you and Edgewater left its imprint on our hearts♥️

Edgewater review
Edgewater is a great lakeside retreat. The views are exceptional with sunsets each evening over the water. The dock was a great place to hang out in the sun. Adirondack chairs were a big plus. The big lawn was great for lawn games for the family. They provided all the games as part of the rental. The only drawback was the water level at the end of the dock is about 4 feet which eliminates the ability to jump into the lake. Also, the firepit is hidden behind trees. Recommend setting up a pit with a view of the water where you can easily pull up the Adirondack chairs. The woodstove was great for colder nights. The room with the woodstove is quite charming. The screened porch was great for summer dinners with views of the lake. Overall, we had a great experience.

Very nice rental
We have rented this home for two years now. It’s spacious, well taken care of and only a few feet from the water. The owners supply lots of fun water toys , table tennis , horseshoes with nice wooden pits and indoor board games for rainy days. The house is great for families. The area is quiet but very close to town. They have wood on site for the fireplace and direct tv. It is definitely one of the nicest homes we’ve rented in Rangeley over the years.

Wonderful house, incredible memories!
My husband, dog and I stayed at the Edgewater and could not have had a better experience! The property is absolutely beautiful, with lots of lawn space. The house is beautiful but comfortable, we weren’t afraid to sit on the couch or use the appliances: it has a lived-in feel, but in a great way. The owners have thought of everything: the kitchen is well stocked, there are blankets all over, all sorts of games and activities, Bluetooth speakers, dog bowls, the list goes on. My husband spent most of his time fishing, and he had great luck. There is a guide book with recommendations of the areas activities, restaurants, etc. that was super helpful. I called Morton & Furbish the day our rental was to start with a few questions about our stay, and the woman I talked to was friendly and helpful. It rained just about the entire time we were there, but I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway. I would 100% recommend this house. We will absolutely be back next year!!

The best retreat!
We came for a wedding and found this property for its convenience. It's so much more!! We can't believe our luck. This is a peaceful, waterside, perfectly planned family retreat! Fireplace with wood stove ( and plenty of wood and fire starters) inside, fire pit outside, basket of dog toys, chairs by the lake, canoes, ping pong table, etc! The beds are comfortable too. It was clean and well stocked. We are so thankful for this gem!

Great house on the lake
This is our third year staying at Edgewater and we love it. Nice large kitchen, dining area that fits our family of 9, large covered porch plus small screened porch. We like that there are three separate bedroom areas, each with its own bathroom. Wonderful large lawn for kids and grandkids. Very private, too.

Perfect for a group of friends
We (4 couples and a single) had a fun, comfortable stay. The house gives plenty of space to spread out and the kitchen worked great for the meals we prepared. Good put-in area for kayaking, not to mention horseshoes and disc golf available in the yard! Just down the road from the center of town.

Perfect Property
Looked a house for us to relax, hike and throw the frisbee and ball with our dogs. The property was perfect for that. Enjoyed the sunset, fire pit fires by lake and the canoes. Well equipped kitchen and has a washer and washer. Perfect wonderful memorial weekend.

really nice
water shoes and a life jacket!, the water is very clean, but slippery rocks and wind/waves like the ocean! i am a good swimmer, but i always wear my life jacket, there is a current from the wind, but the water is warm, clean and enjoyable. its worth having a nice one with a zipper to wear comfortably while swimming. the house is very nice, indoor and outdoor fireplaces which we used both. lots of yard games, we also used, no reason to be out there with people. nice kitchen and dining room, lots of home cooking. bring you hdmi cable, nice tv for streaming nba playoffs! lots of hiking opportunities, we did bald mountain and reeds falls. carabassett coffee company is near by to bring bags of coffee home, this is a store not a coffee shop. i order from them all year round. oquossoc grocery is the best. nice people, good stuff and safe mask wearing people. sanitizer stations in downtown area. good safe environment!

Terrific family house
Our family of 6 adults and 3 children shared this home. There is plenty of space - a large, well-equipped kitchen, sizeable dining room, 3 nice bathrooms, 4 bedrooms spaced well throughout the home for some privacy. There is an expansive lawn down to the lake as well as nice porches along the front to take in the view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here this summer. We did have some trouble with wi-fi, but Morton and Furbish supplied us with a hot-spot and that solved the problem.

5 Stars
Loved the house- fantastic lawn, porch, and screened porch. Plenty of room to spread out or find a quiet spot to relax even with a big family. Laundry and dishwasher a big plus too. Lots of yard games at house- no need to bring anything. The house has everything you need for a great stay on Rangeley and is very conveniently located to grocery, town, and close by water to boat rental options. Boathouse makes it easy to bring a boat in (raise the prop!) and tie up while you load up your crew. Fun place!
