We have stayed in this home before and love it! It's perfect for our family of 3. It's an easy drive to Saddleback. We always like to rent through Morton and Furbish.

Eagles Ledge was a great spot for our family to stay to ski Saddleback. Morton and Furbish were super helpful when it snowed— had the driveway plowed for us and even was able to help with a local tow key if we needed. We have stayed here once before and will continue to stay with Morton and Furbish in the future.

We rented Eagles Ledge to view the Solar Eclipse on 4/8/24. We were not disappointed! The home has a beautiful view of the western sky (think sunsets!), a large deck, and we found camping chairs in the cellar. The home itself was very clean, and wifi was strong. I was able to remote into work for a few long conference calls, and never dropped a moment. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the indoor temperature was pleasant. Pantry was well stocked, and everything we needed was provided. We have visited the Rangeley area every year for 30+ years. We will definitely rent this location again.

Great little place, no issues for 3 of us. Stove has some idiosyncrasies but we were able to cook meals just fine. A wood cutting board would be a great addition. Slept well, beautiful views and would gladly go back

Thank you for arranging such a lovely location for our getaway weekend. The view from Eagle's Ledge were stupendous of the full moonset over the lake. It was perfect for our family and we enjoyed playing games and dining together. We'll certainly reach out to you when we're looking to return to the Rangeley area. It was beautiful on the mountain as we skied Nordic, alpine, and uphill. A great workout and wonderful family time.

We were 5 friends who wanted a weekend getaway to play board games and look for moose. The home is just as described, with a comfortable and private bedroom on the first level and a loft level that sleeps 3-4. The balcony overlooked a spectacular view of Rangeley Lake. The drive to town was approx 5 min. The area is safe and private. Communication was perfect.

What a great cottage. Stunning views over Rangeley Lake and wildlife in abundance. Everything is clean and tidy and the kitchen was well-stocked. Sitting out on the deck in the evening watching the sunset and then the dance of the firebugs was worth the price alone. Thanks for a refreshing week. I have a feeling we will be back.

I will be coming back. The Eagles Nest has a million dollar view and comfy surroundings. Located on a not yet fully developed hillside, it is secluded enough to be quiet--I am a writer and spent most of my time inside typing way--but close enough for all sorts of outdoor activities and for meals out, even during COVID. The townspeople were super nice which was reassuring for me as a Black woman traveling in Maine. The house isn't perfect--if you need a gourmet kitchen or fancy bathroom, it isn't for you; you will need to get last minute toiletries yourself, but the supermarket is a 5 minute drive; the beds in the loft could be cushier and you may need more fans on those hotter days since the house is mostly windows--but it offers so much peace of mind and awe at Rangeley Lake that you will be looking at your calendar trying to figure out when you can return. Just like me.

This cabin perched on the hillside has a truly amazing view over the lake with a big deck, and the afternoon sun just streams in the main part of the house. We were comfortable, everything was easy and the cabin had everything we needed. We were about 15-20 minutes to Saddleback. Morton and Furbish were very easy to work with.

This was a lovely home with an absolutely fantastic view (only the fact that it didn't have a stove/fireplace and that the kitchen was pretty tiny made me deduct a star). I would DEFINITELY recommend it and will hope to stay again in the future. Morton and Furbish staff were so very helpful throughout our stay, very quick to respond to questions/concerns and provided access to Saddleback at a discount rate. Thank you!

This is the perfect place for a family of 4 or 5 with small children. Views are incredible. Unit was perfectly clean and ready for our long weekend. Bring everything you will need to prep meals if you are eating in. Including cooking oils, plastic wrap, baggies, etc. And, like the description states, throw in a few extra blankets as the wind whips up the mountain.

Eagles Ledge is a very nice property that offers convenience not only to town but to ATV trails. Being able to unload our quads and just ride from the property was key we also used the ATV access lot in town which allowed us to ride a different set of trails (had to trailer to the lot). The view is one of the best and the cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable and feel right at home. I guess if there was anything negative to be said it would be that there was no AC and no awning or umbrella on the deck facing the lake it became extremely hot in the afternoons both in the cabin and on the deck but it's not enough to make us give anything but 5 stars to this property. Thanks for sharing we hope to come back again soon.

My experience with both Morton Furbish and our rental at Eagles Ledge were both excellent. The house was perfect for a small family and was a bit nicer than I had expected. The house was clean, had solid amenities, and a fantastic view of the lake. The weekend we went had a plenty of snow. The only suggestion I would make for potential new renters is having a 4 weel drive vehicle would be beneficial when the snow is abundant. We have a 4x4 truck so we had no issues, but someone in a car might...nobody's fault here, just some steep snow covered roads coming to the house and a steep driveway. Many thanks! -Luke
