All the comforts of home.....

A very comfortable house that feels lived in and loved: a posh living room with unusually nice furniture, spacious bathroom, beautiful kitchen with granite buffet and a cozy table looking out over the lake. However, the piece de resistance is the beautiful wrap around screen porch! The house is sheltered by trees on either side but lawn leads right down to the water with unobstructed views of the cove. Ducks and mergansers are likely to waddle right up to you on the shore! On the chilly nights and mornings, we really appreciated the working fireplace and very efficient (and quiet) electric heater in the living room. There is beautiful reception from the satellite dish and a DVD/VCR player to boot, but we seldom felt the need to use it. The pictures on the website really don't do the place justice, as there have been many upgrades (nicer furniture and many nice rugs since the pictures were taken. If we had one criticism, it was that a few more lamps would have been helpful, especially in the sleeping areas and over the dining room table.
