Bolduc

As always with Morton & Furbish, we could not have been more pleased with our stay at Bolduc. Waking up to beautiful views of Rangeley Lake, to the house being the perfect place for a group of friends to spend time together, we had such an unbelievable weekend skiing saddleback, bowling at moose alley, and exploring Rangeley. The house fit 13 of us perfectly and was well stocked with everything we could have needed. We could not have been happier with our time spent!

Just a few words to describe this home: roomy -cozy - extremely well equipped kitchen - amazing fireplace - the best hot tub we have ever seen!! -features BOTH sunrises and sunsets over the lake - perfect location - abundance of wildlife - a place where dreams come true!!! We have visited the Rangeley area many times over the year. While all of our stays have been wonderful this stay was exceptional. We definitely plan on returning. The added bonus is knowing that even with any small request or question the staff of Morton and Furbish a merely a call away.

This house was absolutely perfect. We were 7 people and one dog- parents, kids and spouses and grandchildren. Everything was absolutely perfect. Plenty of space. Large big island and a huge table for 8 or more people. The views were spectacular and on our one day of rain, we sat inside the living room, played games, cooked lunch and enjoyed the views to Rangeley Lake. We loved the big backyard, the multi level decks and of course the hot tub was a big success. We loved both the Portage Tap House and the Hungry Trout which were 5 minutes away. We would definitely come back here and we would highly recommend

Our three generation family has been vacationing at Bolduc for many years now and we had the best vacation this year together. We range from nine years to 75. This house is perfect for us. There are beds and living rooms for everyone to spread out in. We love the hot tub, the fire pit for s’mores, the dock for sunbathing, and for our boat and fun island and the big kitchen for all our cooking needs and the multiple living rooms for the various generations activities. The dining room table is perfect for all our meals and games way into the night. My favorite place is the patio under the deck for shade and relaxation in the Adirondack chairs. I could stay there all summer. We have a cottage at the Cape, but Rangeley is our favorite place. We had Pickleball contests, hikes to the new gnome trail, and small falls, Pizza dinner at saddleback, biking ,shopping in town, lots of boating and swimming, and jumping off the dock. The water was amazing this year. It’s always so clear and it was warm! It’s the perfect place to spend time with loved ones. We are already booked for next year and can’t wait!

What a beautiful setting! The home was plenty big for a group of 15. The dock was ideal for the boat we rented. Home was clean and met our needs! We hope to be back at some point again in the future! We had a great stay at Bolduc. Very clean, very spacious and close to anything you would want to do in Rangeley. We enjoyed skiing one day at Sugarloaf and one day skiing at Saddleback.

Bolduc is a spacious well located house and has the best appointed and organized kitchen. The huge kitchen table has seating for everyone in the house and a super view. The hot tub is enormous with lots of fun options. Lots of beds and towels - great place to take a big family. Morton and Furbish does a super job of keeping in touch and making sure everything is going well.

Our multigenerational family, now a blended family, has been staying in Bolduc for many years. We have our own cottage on Cape Cod and are fortunate to take vacations together in many places, and yet this is our favorite week of the year! We all love Rangeley and all that it has to offer. We have traditions about who is the first one in the lake that involves heading to Frosty! We love boating, hiking, spotting wildlife, eating out, and this year we loved attending the live community theatre production of Newsies! We can't wait to see what they have next year. And most of all we love the spaciousness of Bolduc that allows our size family to spread out and relax, and find a quiet corner to read, or make a meal together and share that meal with all the space you need. Adults can be together on one floor while the younger generation can be playing games on a different floor. I personally love the patio with the Adirondack chairs and many love the hot tub. It has so much to offer that will keep us coming back. we look forward to coming back in the winter as well to ski at Saddleback. It is a perfect house.

Bolduc is spacious and cozy at the same time with three different family room/gathering areas, which is perfect for larger family groups. The hot tub is big and there is a great view from it (and out almost all of the large windows in the home). There is ample parking and the kitchen is well equipped. Great place to stay.

We loved staying at Bolduc. The location and size of the home was perfect for us. The grandkids loved playing foosball and pingpong, as well as sliding down the hill onto the lake in front of the house. The description of the home was very accurate, with plenty of bedding, towels, etc. We had a problem with one of the faucets, but the maintenance people came over immediately and fixed it. Our only recommendation is there needs to be more silverware when serving a dozen or so people for 4 days.

We have stayed at this property many times and love it! The property was great the rental agency was great in helping to find a repair shop for me when a vehicle had issues. The only issue was that due to all the logging causing closed trails from the house and the lake not being safe we had to trailer to a parking lot to ride our sleds

This house was awesome for a big family vacation at the lake. The kitchen was well-appointed and had a nice, big dining table which accommodated everyone. To be able to all gather around the table is an important amenity for us. There was plenty of room for our family of 10 plus a dog to spread out. The location is great, halfway between Rangeley and Oquossoc. The dock was wonderful for jumping in the lake and just hanging out. We would definitely like to return!

Our three generation family returns again and again to Bolduc for our favorite week of the year! We only wish it could be longer. There is so much to do and the house is perfect for everyone. It is so large and has so many living spaces that everyone can spread out and find a spot for relaxing, cooking, reading, playing games, playing ping-pong, jumping off the dock, boating, and everything else in between! We love the new couches and the new floating dock and everyone loves the hot tub. I especially love the covered patio with the Adirondack chairs in the shade. These are memories that the entire family will always have and we can't wait to go back. Couldn't recommend the house more.

This was our second time at this rental and we love it ! Great for large groups or multiple families. Beds are comfortable. Two fireplaces one upstairs and one down . Walking in the house was immaculate. Beautiful location!! Looking out directly on the lake. Excellent layout of the home for a large group. Walk out level with ping pong, etc. lots of space downstairs for “hanging out” that is away from the main part of the house so when you start yelling with excitement about the games you don't bother/wake others. This level goes out to a massive hot tub that was so fabulous to enjoy. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The bedrooms upstairs are tucked back away from the main living room. Once again adding for more privacy and quiet. Great dock for hanging out on or tying boat up to. Overall a fabulous week! Property management are always extremely responsive with any questions or needs. Our 5th year in Rangeley and our favorite house so far!

Our stay was delightful at Bolduc. The house was just as described, well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, gas grill on the deck was a highlight, the hot tub was HUGE and so great and being able to get our tickets for Saddleback ahead of time was fantastic. The term "cabin" doesn't quite sum up this gorgeous house. Situated right on a lake, this house is more of a castle than anything else. Everything was very easy to understand, check-in/out was a breeze. The staff was responsive and attentive to the little questions we had. Plenty of space, all of the amenities you could want all wrapped up in a beautiful package. We sincerely enjoyed our time at this property and would absolutely visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed two wonderful weeks at Bolduc. This is our second year there and we are already signed up for next year and can't wait to go back! All three generations of our family had everything we needed. There's a great mooring for our boat, the dock has both a ladder and steps for easy access to the lake, many Adirondack chairs on the lawn by the fire pit and my favorite is the patio under the deck, with more Adirondack chairs, with shade and beautiful breezes. That doesn't even include the huge hot tub with sound and the very large home with enough living areas for everyone to spread out! All that and a large deck and a big kitchen, well stocked!! The owner is really nice and very helpful. You can't go wrong!

Our family had a wonderful time in Rangeley! The house was spacious and there were many fun activities in the home itself which included ping pong and so many various board games! We especially enjoyed the stunning views from the deck, gathering by the fire pit and the amazing hot tub on chilly nights! The service from Morton and Furbish was absolutely exceptional! Just a heads up, it is tricky to get into paddle crafts from the dock as there is no easy access point. It is also very rocky so you will want to watch you step. Otherwise, it is an incredible home to enjoy time with family and friends! We loved it!

Our experience at Buldoc was awesome to say the least! We chose this house because of all the extra space and how we weren't going to all be on top of each other. The pictures definitely do it justice. The radiant heat was a nice touch! It was perfect for warming our feet before going out snowmobiling in the freezing cold! And we couldn't have been happier with the wood in the garage! That was a nice surprise! The house was impeccable and had everything we needed. The squeak in floor upstairs was probably the only complaint we had. We hope to come back again and make more memories at Bolduc!

It is a shame that I can't find a 6th star to give this property. What a glorious house along side Rangeley Lake. The multi-level house is beautifully constructed. Wonderful fireplaces on two levels and a hot tub located right outside the door just added to the enjoyment of our stay. We visited in the winter so the opportunity for the kids to ride sleds down the hill in the back yard was perfect. And when cold, to be able to either jump in the hot tub or huddle around a fire in the fireplace was perfect. Thank you Morton and Furbish for helping me plan a great vacation for me and my extended family.

This was our 2nd time renting this house for the snowmobiling season. The house is big enough for 10+ people and you never feel like you are on top of each other. Perfect location to jump on the lake to snowmobile. Everyone had a great time, as always. We look forward to renting it this Summer.

Our group of 9 had a wonderful 5 night stay. Very comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone. The views were amazing. Fireplace worked perfectly, as did the hot tub. We had fine skiing at Saddleback CC center, and easily got to Sugarloaf for some downhill, as well as the Maine Huts trail to Poplar Spring. No complaints.

Our party of 10 had a wonderful stay at the Bolduc property. The weather was perfect summer weather, 80s and sunny. The lake hadn't quite warmed up yet but the kids did venture out into it and by the end of the week it was a bit warmer. The house itself is great, plenty of rooms and spaces to relax or have fun playing games, ping pong, fooseball or quiet time. The kitchen was the most appointed kitchen we have ever stayed in over the last 10 years. There was no lack of dishes, cookware, grilling items, spices and condiments. The cupboards were completely full and the downside was there was nowhere to really put our groceries that didn't go in the fridge. Thankfully the island is enormous and was pretty much a catch all. The hot tub was a surprise and wonderful addition. Everyone really enjoyed it. Steps off the patio would be nice but it looked so new and we saw extra bricks that maybe it just hadn't been done yet. A few things that could of been improved on were the second floor area between the 2 bedrooms creak extremely loud. Anyone going in/out of those rooms will alert others upstairs. The upstairs gets really hot on warm days and some fans would be appreciated. The ceiling fans only do so much. A basement full bathroom was really lacking. Finally, some kayaks, a paddleboat or canoe would have been a wonderful addition as there is no beach area at all. The kids would of spent more time on the water if those were provided. We brought floats but like I said the water was really cold. This was actually our first rental that didn't have items to get out and enjoy the water and we really missed that. Of course, having your own boat would solve that. The owner was great and easy to deal with and Morton & Furbish rentals were the most communicative and attentive rental company we have ever used. All in all, I highly recommend Bolduc to anyone wanting to stay in the Rangeley area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bolduc. It was very clean and we easily slept 13. A group of us have been coming to Rangeley for 10 years and this was our fist stay at Bolduc. View was outstanding. We would definitely consider a return visit to Bolduc.

You won't be able to stop saying “WOW” when you see this beautiful home in person. We had two children......age 2 and 7, and 9 adults and we had plenty of room to spread out. Everyone loved the ping pong table and foos ball. Since we came up to snowmobile, having a house on the lake was perfect!!! And of course Sugarloaf was nearby for the skiers in our group. Top notch house, beautiful views, many extra included in the house and if I can say it again..... WOW oh WOW! 10+ house and worth every penny! Thank you to the owners and Morton and Furbish.

My family spent a wonderful Labor Day weekend at Bolduc. The house was very comfortable and spacious and the game room in the basement was a treat when we were done playing in the water. The loons sung us to sleep and woke us in the morning. The fireplace by the water made for a relaxing and peaceful end to our days. It was a fabulous way to close our summer.

This was our first time staying at Bolduc. The house was plenty big for our family of 10. We could easily fit around the table for meals together. There was plenty of room in the upstairs living room area as well as the downstairs. Three adult couples each had their own bedroom and the kids had their own spaces in the basement. We enjoyed lounging on the deck, the spacious lawn (plenty of sun and shade) and the dock. A great stay for us!

The kitchen was fully stocked with any appliance, utensil, dish or pan you could need. very spacious and enjoyed playing ping pong, fishing off the dock and making smores in the firepit. We rented "Bolduc" from June 3 to June 8, 2018. We were a group of 12 people (my sons, brother in-laws, there sons, and friends. There was ample room for everyone, even at the dinner table. Clark is a very impressive home that is well suited for large groups. For the past three years we have rented this house for our group of 12 and there was still plenty of room. Amazing property on the lake. Spectacular sunrises with the light on the snowy lake. Plenty of room for our family, well stocked kitchen for those who enjoy cooking and 2 spacious living rooms with fire places. Hoping for Saddleback to reopen as the trek to Sugarloaf is at least 40 minutes, but the snowshoeing and the nordic ski center provided us with plenty of exercise.

I came up here for a 5 day stay to fish and hang out with some close friends. Over the past 15 years we have traveled all over the state and stayed at numerous camps. This camp was by far the best place we have stayed at when you evaluate view, quality of the camp, location to town, location on the water, amenities (fire pit, chairs, grill, TV's, dock), and plenty of beds!! We all really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again next year!

very happy with our selection this year. in past years we have stayed at Halls Retreat, Hilltop, The Ark, and one other off Dallas Hill Road. this was one of the top two (Hilltop being number one but we did not have enough people for this one) location was great and close to the Moose road. very comfortable accomadations and GREAT View!!!! also, this year we played Mingo Springs which was very nice. see you next year.
