Prizes are awarded to top finishes in the youth, male and female categories alike. There are also options to enjoy this event as a team as a mixed team, silver team of participants 60 and older, first responders team, or business members team. Registration is open for this May event and closes on May 26th. It’s $50 for individuals to pre-register and $75 for teams. If you’d like to take part in this exciting experience, be sure to bring your own mountain bike and kayak. Individual races start promptly at 10:00 am and teams head out at 10:15 am. While the Memorial Day BiKaRu Race is always fun, it’s also an event with a good cause in mind. Proceeds from the race go towards the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce as well as the Rangeley Lakes Health and Wellness facility.
