The Rangeley Retreat at Russell Cove 18

We loved this unit. Very close to the snowmobile trail and gas. The unit was very comfortable with 4 adults and 2 children. The unit had beautiful hard wood floors. I would give this unit a 5 star review and would rent this unit in the future.

This cabin was great to gather friends from all over to spend a weekend skiing Saddleback. Proximity to the mountain, grocery store, etc. was convenient. The kitchen/dining room layout had plenty of space for everyone. My only complaint would be that the beds per room description was slightly off -The room listed as "Queen Double Sofa bed" is inaccurate, as the double sofa bed is actually in the basement living room area.

Me and my friends had a wonderful time staying here. Right on the lake with dock access and a nice swimming area. The camp was super clean and well maintained. We will be planning on coming back sometime in the near future!

18 Russell Cove is an amazing home with tons of space. We used every bed for a family week-long vacation and had so much fun. The cove had a mini beach that the kids loved swimming in, and the location was perfect, just on the edge of town. Super high temps, 80-85+ all week, and the house was comfortable. We did a lot and still had more to do that we didn't get to this trip!

The cabin we stayed in on Rangeley Lake was beyond beautiful and perfect for our trip. We had a group of 9 coworkers getting together for a bonding weekend at the lake. Unfortunately there was a storm rolling over us the whole weekend, but there were games, tvs, and good company to keep us entertained inside. Everything in the cabin was very clean and tidy, bathrooms had plenty of tp, and towels were laid out for us on every bed. The cabin was in fantastic shape and was very comfortable to stay in. Management was also very communicative leading up to the trip. They sent several informational emails and responded quickly when I had questions.

The house was bright, clean and spacious. It had immediate access to the snowmobile trail and all the amenities. It was set up very well to hang up and dry all the snowmobile gear. The staff was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. The only suggestion would be if the overflow parking was a little wider to accommodate two vehicles wide to get trucks and trailers in and out without being blocked.

Perfect location within an easy walk (or swim or kayak) to town, with a beautiful view of Rangeley Lake, and easy access to swimming. Peaceful relative privacy of Russell Cove. Comfortable sleeping, large walk-out basement for rainy days with kids. Plenty of games and books, and a well appointed kitchen and oven. We had a wonderful family escape in a beautiful lake town.

Russell cove 18 camp is amazing. Plenty of room and the layout is perfect. 3 full bathrooms and the 4 bedrooms were large and accommodating. The camp was well equipt and had modern and updated furnishings. The location is perfect for getting around the town and is close to everything you need. Morton & Furbis are always great to rent through, Very thorough and communication is excellent. In this case they even contacted the owners about a special request and the owners were kind enough to grant the request. ( Thank you very much ).

Amazing house, very clean. Plenty of beds and 3 bathrooms so never waiting in line for a shower. Walking distance to moose alley and right in front of the lake - excellent location. Customer service from Morton and Furbish was A PLUS.

Stayed here for a week with a group of snowmobilers. The property was clean, spacious and convenient to town and trails. Right off the lake. Plenty of open space to congregate, to have large group meals and to just relax and take in the beautiful lake and mountain scenery. I will definitely look to do again next year.

Russell cove 18 is always great to stay at.everything is close by for snowmobiling and you don't need the lake to get to the trails from this house. Morton Furbish is always great to deal with and they always go above and beyond to accommodate.

Our week in Rangeley was everything we had hoped it would be. The Russell Cove property was amazing. It was very clean upon our arrival Saturday. The entire week we felt at home and comfortable. The communication leading up to our stay was very helpful and appreciated. There is nothing about this process or rental that we would have changed. It's exactly what we were seeking and the Morton and Furbish team delivered. I also want to add that we looked at a significant amount of rental properties in both Maine and New Hampshire. The M & F team was by far the friendliest and most organized group I interacted with. Coming back next year has already been determined by our family.

The house was very clean and comfortable. This was my first time at a shared waterfront and the waterfront is very small. At the beginning of the week, there were few people there so it wasn't too bad. By the end of the week, it was far too crowded to enjoy. Grounds pick up happens Monday so looked great after that. This place is very close to the road with truck noise coming from the parking lot behind the building. Morton Furbish was wonderful, as always, going out of their way to check in with us after a storm.

Excellent location: Moose Alley walking distance Gas across the street Trail access right in front of the house 3 full bathrooms so guests aren't waiting to shower clean house/beds etc very spacious living area to hang out with your group LOTS of coat hooks and shelves in basement to leave all your sled gear boots, helmets, jacket, pants etc so living space upstairs didn't feel cluttered. Just an excellent house all around, will be booking again

The location and property turned out to be ideal for the 10 of us - ages 5-75. We were close enough to walk to town. The interior was spacious enough for plenty of elbow room. The kids (5-13) spent hours outside on the swing, tether ball, and the dock.

This home was perfect for all of us to come together for the weekend (6 adults, 5 children), the front lawn offered amazing space for the kids to play and the adults to keep an eye on them from the deck or inside from the open concept kitchen/dining/living rooms.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. We were impressed by not only the location of the cabin but also all of the amenities and cooking materials that came with it. A couple of y friends brought their sleds and were more than happy with the all of the trails around the house. We will absolutely be renting from Morton & Furbish again. Thank you!!

Russell Cove log cabin house was perfect for a family from California and Arizona. The house is up to date. Canoeing was perfect where we were at with calm waters of Rangeley lakes for beginners. The neighborhood was very friendly.We rented a pontoon boat and inner tube and this was a blast!!! We hiked Mount Bald and a trail around the camp. Weather was perfect. The only issue was running hot water but this was resolved. Sara and Melinda was very attentive to our needs and concerns. My family states "Best vacation ever!!!"

I rented two properties from Morton Furbush during the month of February of 2014. Both rentals were great!! They were clean and fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We had fantastic snowmobile access right from our door. I would highly recommend Morton and Furbush for your next Rangeley vacation rental. They are easy to work with and set us up with the perfect properties. See you again next year!!!

We had two families in the house and the size and layout could not have been better. Two living areas made for a peaceful time at night and plenty of room to store snowmobile gear. We enjoyed our stay very much. Three items do need to be addressed in order to make the place perfect. The upstairs shower began leaking one day for no reason and then stopped, I could figure out why that happened... the queen size beds seemed to be either very old or very cheap but none of the adults had a good night sleep on them. Parking at the house can be tough, the overflow area was limited to one trailer wide so if we used it we would have boxed in another person's trailer so we had to keep everything at the house driveway which with two trucks and trailers and a third car it was tough. Not a big deal just something to keep in mind. If the beds where improved and the leak fixed I would rate the place as a+++. The walk over to Moose alley was short and convenient. A very nice place.
